WindStreet is committed to the environment. We make it easy for you to help the ‘green’ cause and raise money, too. Our programs are designed to provide incentives for you to further the cause of cleaning the environment by rewarding you with a large portion of the money raised.
Your organization will keep 20% of the funds raised through the sale of our Green Home Cards or our Green-Your-Car Cards. All cards used for this program are pre-activated so there is no delay for your patrons. Getting people up to be ‘green’ has never been so fast and easy as it is with WindStreet’s Green Cards.
An organization that is accepted by WindStreet (and we reserve the right to refuse to partner with any organization that we feel is not in the interest of the community or WindStreet), will receive all the materials necessary for the program. There is no advance cost to your organization once accepted by WindStreet. Any unsold product is simply returned in good condition at the end of the campaign.
Your customers will pay your organization directly and in turn you will remit 80% of those funds to WindStreet in an agreed upon manner. Our materials explain the program in a clear, easy to understand manner that will allow people to immediately become 'green' using WindStreet’s Green Card products.
Our most successful program is 'greening up' residential homes with the Green Your Home Cards. These sell in two (2) denominations, either at $59 per year or $39 for six months. (WindStreet uses figures published by the US Department of Energy to calculate home power usage.) Our Green-Your-Car Cards are another popular product. These come in two (2) denominations also: 6 months offset (6,000 miles/316 gals) for $25; and 12 months (12,000 miles/632 gals) for $50.
WindStreet uses renewable energy sources from across the United States for its green programs. All products support new renewable energy growth and sustaining existing renewable energy sources. The more green products that your organization sells, the more that can be invest into renewable clean energy production across the country.
Each enrolled customer, upon activation, will receive an enrollment certificate showing that they have gone 'green', along with our "We've Gone Green" window sticker for their home or car. There are no contracts for your customer to sign and no obligation to continue after the original term of the card. |
